I've been thinking of trying to get my wife's permission to run over to Ford stadium again this Saturday for the SLC game. I think it'd be a nice gesture to wear my Mean Green gear (maybe take a UNT Flag?) and go support the 3 guys that have already committed.

Is anyone going?

I was thinking about going too. However, if I were to go I might wear a gomeangreen.com tshirt and a unt hat. I'd leave the flag at home, it's a bit excessive for a team that isn't even playing that weekend.

I was thinking this game was on regular cable, but now I read it is on ESPNU? What channel is that? I realize not having TV at my house I become less knowlegable on TV, but I can't say that I have heard of that channel.

With Time Warner Cable, you have to order the "sports tier" at 5.99 per month. It gives you the Fox Sports regionals as well as ESPNU and some others.

I'll be at the SLC game. If you haven't seen "the system" at the 5A level, you should check it out. It's very similar to what we saw at SMU, but with better defense and a more mobile QB.

Not sure why were talking high school football on this board (UNT off week, I guess) but the SLC system and discipline will beat the hell out of Maimi Northwestern. No contest. SLC has a ton of talent and a great offensive line. No contest boys, 3 or 4 TD difference.

Tickets are no longer available on that website, I checked earlier. I was able to take the commute from Denton to Southlake during lunch and bought 4 tickets before they closed at noon. :) I think after day they're $15 at SMU stadium.

I just ran over to buy tickets, and it's a freakin zoo! I've never seen so mnay Tailgaters for a high school game. I knew they had a big following but good grief! Me and a buddy are going. I'll be wearing my UNT gear. Hope to see some of you there.
