North Texas is back at home for two games starting on Friday, September 14 at 7 p.m. against Texas.

Maybe this would be a good game for all the GoMeanGreen.Com fans to show our support and appreciation.

GREAT START LADIES!!!!! Way to go SOCCER LADIES! I sense the NCAA's on the horizon this year...and a nice run in the tourney too! We can start with a nice win this Friday against Texas! Go Mean Green...super job...simply super. :lol:

Million dollar question.....

That is a secret Buzz recipe, only those with "the Buzz" savvy would ever know. Actually if we tied a few games I think it would go a long way towards rewarding us for mediocrity the other teams exhibit. Seriously, probably when pigs fly.......

Actually, to further consider.....I understand thirdhand far removed that there has been some " realignment" of some sort in the region, and some of the teams that are in the current rankings weren't really supposed to be in the region at all for this year. Possibly TN schools and St Louis? :unsure: .....supposedly Buzz has been told and knows this but doesn't want to put the effort into reorganizing this wonderful poll.......if so,we would then be really getting the screws wouldn't we?? ......then again, maybe I've got absolutely no idea what I'm talking about.......maybe I have caught "a Buzz" and have no earthly idea why that entire paranoia insanity came over me....... ;)

That's why I commented that I liked Adler's thinking and editing skills. Make everyone think we are beating UT, everyone shows up, SRO crowd and we hammer TSUSM :lol:

You're right on....if enough people said it, they would eventually probably believe it really happened, and they would probably jump us to top 10 in region without even checking.... hook or crook I say..... and if we tie them we will be automaticly in, they are worth more than wins!!!! ....it seems. :blink:

      I would like them to be good enough to be Quad 1 but not too good to get Will Wade hired away because they're our only home game on the books for next year lol.

      UTSA Game Poll

      UTSA is 4-0 at home and 0-5 away for 4-5 overall. NT is 3-2 at home and 2-2 away for 5-4 overall. They haven't gone thru the 3 game gauntlet NT has. Homer says we'll win by 14.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      figure one main thread to keep track of how our opponents are faring. the AAC is off to a pretty strong start...overall record of 29-7. plus currently Oregon State, High Point and Utah State / St. Bonaventure are all 3-0 - Memphis (2-0) with two quality wins v. Mizzou and UNLV. they should be undefeated (though San Francisco isn't a gimmie) heading into a 11/25 game with UCONN. - UAB (2-1)...I thought their loss to Vermont wouldn't look too bad, but UV has two pretty ugly losses now. really intriguing game tomorrow 11/15 v. High Point - FAU (2-1) look tough...their loss was by 6 to UCF who already beat then 13th A&M. - the other undefeated teams, ECU (3-0), Temple (3-0), Tulane (3-0), Tulsa (3-0), Wichita St. (2-0) collectively really haven't played much of a schedule...best win is probably WSU over WKU...but they've made pretty light work of what's in front of them. Games of interest over the next week or so: 11/14 - Northern Iowa @ Wichita State 11/15 - UAB @ HighPoint ; Temple @ Boston College ; FAU v. Charlston and Liberty (11/16) 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next)

      Sure but how good is Charlotte? They beat Richmond who lost to Marist. Utah State's other D1 win is against 0-3 Alcorn State who lost to an NAIA school. Again too early to really tell either way.
