Recruits

How many recruits were either at the game or checked the stats in the paper or on tv and are now salivating over the prospect of playing for such a prolific offense. We may not have won on the SCOREBOARD(we all understand that wins are the most important thing D2007), but we may have gotten some players to think a little more about playing for Dodge. Getting the right players in this offense will only speed up the process.

I hope there are some defensive players out there who realize we need a lot of help on that side of the ball.

EXACTLY! Hopefully some recruits are salivating at our crappy defensive numbers and are thinking they can get some early playing time.

Wins bring top recruits. TV and playing with the big boys brings top recruits. We have to find the diamonds in the rough for the most part like CASEY FITZ.

BUT STATS don't account for recruits, only WINS. NMSU and Hal Mumme throw it better than anyone for many-many seasons but they have no "D" and "D" wins championships.

Thinking the same things about NMSU. It might be fun to watch all the offensive stats, but if you don't play D you get the same thing Mumme is getting.
