Did anyone notice that the receiver in the slot killed UNT tonight? There must have been at least a ten yard cushion for whoever defended that positon all night. Sometimes it was Bush and somtimes it was amother cornerback. They dinked and dunked all night long to the slot receiver. Is there a reason we don't defend that tighter? Are they afraid of getting burned and don't trust their cover ability? Can I have some thoughts on that.

Honestly, they were just playing it really soft. It looked like what a highschool team would do. they seemed to be afraid to get up in their face. probably becuase the secondary is too slow. I could be wrong.

I think DM just doesn't like to throw up the middle which is too bad because it seems like every time he did we got a big gain. He rolls to the left or the right and hits a guy doing an out to the sideline. Yards after catch do not exists and that needs to change.

Um, Meager isn't a defensive player; and he wasn't playing defensive back against the guy in the slot. I checked the player reports, and didn't see that he played defense.

A healthy portion of Fitzgerald's yard were yards after the catch. So it did change.
