Actually, the tops look Navy blue, and the shorts look black.

I love it when I see things like those VB unis on the home page - it just adds fuel to my notion that the new color scheme is totally messed up.

I would say this it is difficult to disect the correct color from these photos because of the lighting situation in the VB gym. When you have halogen lights or metal halide systems, they do some wonky things to the color spectrum. This not as noticable to the naked eye when you are there in person, but it is more apparent in photographs and video. I would believe that if you looked at the same uniforms outside, in the daylight, they would look more like the school's kelly green.
