Surely I am not reading this right. Troy had to have been paid $425,000 to play Arkansas, not the other way around, right?

$425,000 means absolutely nothing when you are in the SEC, fill up your stadium every saturday and have almost unlimited support from alumni, fans etc.

though I admit when I first saw the topic it really had me in awe but Kimb0204 is trying to say is that Troy WAS paid $425,000 to play Arkansas. I did not think this would have been an issue. Oh well I hope that solves this.

That's about aveage for a payout. Does anyone know how much we got for the OU game? I thought I'd seen something that said we were getting $450k for the game.
