Seconded. Anyone with any actual updates on what was said during the show?

I went to the show. I don't remember a lot of specifics of what Coach said....but I do know this: I came away feeling even more assured that he will get the job done.

I love Coach TD's demeanor. He exudes so much confidence.

He did say that he was pleased with how the kids never quit. He said that there was no finger pointing on the sideline....and that even though, he was not pleased with a 79-10 loss, that there were plenty of positives to build on.

He did say that players are evaluated week to week...and that there can be the corresponding line-up changes.

I didn't realize it, until Coach mentioned it.......but A.J. Penson got some playing time the other night.

Also, Coach pointed out that of 88 offensive snaps that we had.......center Kelvin Drake, didn't have a bad snap all night.

Anyway, I know I'm not getting into many specifics....but just trust me, Todd Dodge is greatness.

Also, kudos to the Athletic Department......they were all well behaved. Thank you...

Why did the Cowboys leave second string corners out in man-to-man against other teams receivers most of the pre-season? It was a combination of working to improve and see what they had and being under-talented at the position. Dodge used the game to assess the team against top flight competition to see who would respond and hopefully he learned something for the rest of the year.

As much as it might hurt some of you to admit it, that was not an attempt to win a game. Because that game could be played 100 times and the outcome would be about the same. We experimented - and hopefully we learned. Just don't kill yourselves if we lose this weekend.

Well, some of you can I guess. Although death is never pleasant.

Bingo. This is why I love you and TTG.

Couldn't have said it better... because if what you said WASN'T the case, we're all screwed.

Geez................TD lost his first three games at Carroll (sorry for the H.S. reference)...................sure glad we didn't fire him!

Rebuilding a program takes time, OU (or for that matter this season) is not a good measuring stick! The man has a "football plan", let's all support him.

      Brett Yormark, Big 12 Commissioner, basically told SMU that there was one school in the country that made obvious sense to add and it was SMU but TCU, OK State, Baylor, Tech, etc. did not want to elevate SMU. This year is proving them right to a certain degree b/c with the level playing field SMU will outspend and surpass them in record time. Why waste four years of your life in Lubbock, Stillwater, Fort Worth, or Waco when you could be in Dallas?

      what a bunch of garbage. Schools have been paying players, inducing high school recruits, and skirting (or outright ignoring) the rules since they started keeping score. The only difference now is that its out in the open for everyone to see. This is a bunch of revisionist history and yearning for the "good ol days" when in truth this stuff has always been there.

      Craponi should give his salary to Rod Brown for misusing him. In general, Rod has never been valued enough. He has been outstanding in very tough circumstances.

      Well NT 80, you are right. I am a dinosaur, but far from being a bitter fan. I have had a lot of joy through UNT athletics through out the decades but also some disappointment. I don't understand why our students show so little support and alumni give so little money. I don't understand why we can't build a winning football program but I expect you will tell us. I agree that my social graces have slipped but one of the pleasures of becoming an old man is not having to suffer fools.I will also at 82 admit to occasional memory lapses although I must say you are unforgettable. In summary I disagree with most but not all of your posts, respect your right to have a different opinion, find you easy to pimp,and wish you a blessed life.
