Question 1: Michigan was No. 5 in the nation before this game. Would you drop them completely out of the top 25?

Question 2: There may be restrictions on who can be ranked, but would you vote Appalachian State into the top 25?

1. I would drop them out completely, however they won't drop that far. Probably no lower than 18.

It will be interesting to see where they are in next week's Sagarin ratings. App St was #80 this week. Troy is the highest rated Sun Belt school at 100.

Yes, Michigan should not be ranked. I also think voters will agree.

I would vote Appalachian State into the Top 25....but I don't believe they can be since they are in another subdivision.

dang, you guys beat me to posting about this. i have never seen a team drop out of the top 25 from the top 10 much less the top 5 after a loss. if they are still ranked the rankings are even more of a joke than they already are.

having said that, i expect them to still be ranked. especially in the coaches poll.
