What we all hope Todd Dodge will say in the near future: "I really can understand why we went to 4 bowl games in a row since (after all) we were ranked in the Top 25; you know, just like our former Big West Conference collegue Boise State has been the last several years?

PS: Wouldn't it have been nice back when both UNT and BSU left the Big West if we had followed the same roadmap as the Broncos?

Yeah, top 25 of worst offenses for the better part of a decade. Was it Dickey, or the "great minds" he surrounded himself with? I honestly don't know.

Thank God DD is gone and someone else's problem. He does not seem to learn

USU's offense is shifting from throwing out of the shotgun to a "traditional" running game.

"Ideally in this offense, what we try to do, and we did a little of this at North Texas, there will be a guy

that carries it 20-25 times, minimum," Dickey said. "Sometimes, it's as high as 40. Sometimes at that position,

one guy carries it 30 or so and another guy gets eight, 10, 12 carries."
