UNT's trip to OU a homecoming for some

DENTON – Senior defensive end Blake Burruss is one of four players who will make a return to his home state when UNT opens the season Saturday at Oklahoma.

Burruss played at Westmoore High in Oklahoma City. Defensive backs Dominique Green and Robbie Gordon and defensive end Charlie Brown are also from Oklahoma.

"I live about eight minutes from the stadium," Burruss said. "I saw my share of Sooners games growing up. I was not a big fan, but the Sooners influence in my area is huge. It's like the Dallas Cowboys here."
