King DL's photo of the press box side of Fouts brought something to mind. I've always wondered why the 50 yard line seats, the best in the house, are not the ones fitted with the theater style seats. Seems logical that section E, especially lower section E (where I sit) would have the theater type seats instead of the section next to section E (section D).

Why "especially" the section where you sit? Something "special" about where you sit? Just wondering???? I think we should add theater seating in several sections...those "cahirbacks" are not all that comfortable. How much more are you willing to pay to have "comfy" seats???? Maybe it's a factor of age??? My rear-end was not as "picky" about seating when I was 25! How about you?

I agree with KRAM and it seems that would be a waste of seats since many of those stand throughout the game anyway. If Emmitt, Zeke, et al could stand through Dickeyball, imagine what they'll do under Dodgeball.

Well, I was kidding about the seats in my section being "special." But section E does require the greatest donation to the Mean Green Club. I just WONDERED why section D was chosen to have theater seats and not X,Y, or Z. As far as paying for comfy seats, I sat there when the seats were made of wood. Aluminum was a welcome upgrade. Today, I get the bolted in chair backs. I expect to pay more for a better and better Mean Green product. The good stuff always costs more.

By the way, I stopped by Fouts on the way home from Church. King DL's photos got me interested. I don't know what's palnned for a fence jon the I-35 side, but it looks nice without it.

Then, I parked and walked in. There's been a lot of work done to the men's restroom. The "troughs" are gone and there is some roughed in plumbing waiting for something to be completed. The stalls around the toilets are gone, but the toilets are still there and they're wrapped in painter's paper, indicating there will be some painting going on. The sinks are also covered in paper. Doors were removed also. I don't know if they being replaced or just removed during the remodeling. The floor drains have been jack hammered up as well.

Thanks Boise

Thanks for the report Joe!

I was wondering the same, but I was not in a position to get out and look around when I took the pictures yesterday. It really feels like things are coming together on a much larger level then I ever remember.

Did you notice some of the new test spots of the brighter green on the pillars?
