QB - Starter: Giovanni Vizza, Backup: Daniel Meager - As many on here have put it...if a true freshman, with 2 weeks with the team is neck and neck with a player entering his 4th season, go with the kid and let him mature. I have never been a fan of DM so perhaps my bias is setting in...but I think Gio has the highest ceiling and ought to be given a shot.

TB - Starter: Jamario Thomas, Backup: Cam Montgomery - I am very concerned at the lack of coverage Jamario has gotten in the practice notes...and the occassional mention of him "resting his hamstring." I would love to see Jamario prove 04 wasn't a fluke, but my confidence in him is waning. That said...I like the what I've heard about Cam...and Micah Mosely I think has the potential to eventually be a star...I was very high on him when he got here and he's made some plays in practice.

Outside WR's - Starters: Brandon Jackson and Brock Stickler, Backups: Roderick Johnson and Sam Dibrell - I love Brock's size on the outside and I'm glad to see it seems he will be getting a chance to show what he can do...should be a solid possession type reciever...Brandon should have a good senior year. Also put Sam Roberson's name in the back-up rotation, but Roderick has made plays and impressed and I think the Vizza to Dibrell connection will be a great threat here for years.

Slot WR's - Starters: B.J. Lewis and Breece Johnson, Backups: Casey Fitzgerald and Korey Washington - Two true freshman going against OU safeties and linebackers makes me nervous...especially with Breece being as wirery as he is...I think he'll eventually be the best out of this group of freshman. Casey will see lots of time and seems to be our best deep threat.

Tackles - Starters: Matt Menard and Robert Peachey, Backup: Matt Tomlinson - Weakest part of the line...hoping for a lot of quick pass plays b/c speed rushers could have a field day here.

Guards - Starters: Adam Venegas and Esteban Santiago, Backup: Ajani Banks - I think Santiago has tackle size...don't know about his mobility...but throw Tyler Bailey in here and guard is very deep and I think Ajani should be starting.

Center - Starter: Chad Rose, Backup: Kelvin Drake - Best part of our line...gives us the luxury of redshirting JJ Johnson and I think walk-on Blaine McBride may turn into something if he can put on 15 to 20 lbs.

DE's - Starters: Jeremiah Chapman and Blake Burruss, Backup: Eddrick Gilmore - Lots of hype surrounding Eddrick...missed first 2 weeks of practice though and may be a bit behind. I've been encouraged by what I've heard in the transitions of Charlie Brown and Ryan Davenport adding depth on the line

DT's - Starters: Montay Stevenson and Joseph Miller, Back-up: Isaac Thomas - I like what Stevenson gives and Miller and Thomas seem interchangable as run stoppers. With the weight Draylon Ross has put on, I'd like to see him slide inside...Stevenson started as an end and moved to tackle as well. Redshirt either Scroggins or DeSoto.

OLB's - Starters: Maurice Holman and Brandon Monroe, Backups: Tobe Nwigwe and Craig Robertson - mix in Germaine Dawson and this is the deepest part of our defense and there is no excuse for this unit to be tired in the fourth...I am very excited about our linebacking corp

MLB - Starter: Colt Mahan, Backup: Derek Mendoza - Mahan did more with fewer opportunities than anyone else on the team last year.

CB's - Starters: Latif Nurudeen and Antoine Bush, Backup- Dominique Green - concerned with the size of Bush and Green.

S's - Starters: Aaron Weathers and Kartay Agbottah, Backup - Desmon Chapman - Weathers is a stud...I bet once Chapman sees some real game time at safety he'll adjust and win the starting spot

both Cam Montgomery and Michah Mosely will probably be redshirted. Its not even certain that Jamario will be the starter because Deavin Cox is giving him good competition and the coaches are very high on him. Plus Jamario is hurt...AGAIN. Also at defensive tackle, Isaac Thomas is a starter.

So let me get this straight...JUCO transfer Cam Montgomery and Micah Mosely will redshirt. Deavin Cox is going to start because the coaches like him and Jamario is hurt. So that means our back-up RB is...Keronna Henderson or 5'5", 180 lbs Joshua Maldonado??:blink:

Yeah I don't buy that either. I've hear C-Mo hasn't progressed as quick as they hoped and he may redshirt but I've been seeing Mosely as high as 2nd on the depth chart I don't see him redshirting.

Where do you get to see a depth chart?

Correction I haven't seen a depth chart I don't think anyone outside of the coaching staff has but I've heard Mosely is being considered as high as #2 on said depth chart.
