This would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Bryant quoting Las Vegas police reports like he's from the ghetto. "I ain't goin' f'ing nowhere... I'll have all you muthaf'ers smoked..."

Softball questions volleyed up for Pacman. How the heck Bryant is considered a "journalist" is beyond me.

I agree that Gumble is bad as a play-by-play announcer. And, I personally don't agree with his politics. But, his sports journalism show, "HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumble", is to me, the best sports journalism on TV today. He has great reporters, (Frank Deford, Bernard Goldberg, Mary Carillo, James Brown, Andrea Kramer and others) who are allowed to spend 12-15 minutes on a subject...instead of the 2-3 minute reports that you might see on ESPN.

And btw, there is no way, that he offered up softball questions to PacMan Jones.

Curious, did you watch this interview or have you just seen quotes from it?

I watched it today. He didn't offer very many tough questions and when he did he simply reinforced Pacman's lame answers.

Don't get me wrong, I like "Real Sports". And Gumbel usually does good stories. In this case he just seemed to let Pacman use his show as a forum to claim how everyone was out to get him.

Okay, fair enough. Did you see the whole show? If so, the segment on dogfighting sickened me.
