I just reviewed the updated roster off MGS, and found some new players

that I did not reconize. Any bio-info on these players?

1. Fr- Brett Barrow, WR, 6-2, 168lbs, Pebble Beach CA (Brownwood TX HS)

2. Fr- Bradley Davidson, OL, 6-0, 238lbs, Justin TX-Northwest HS

3. Fr- Kevin dickerson, WR, 5-10, 187lbs, Ft Worth Calvary Christian Academy

4. Fr- Troy Kokjohn, OL, 6-2, 258lbs, Carrollton TX-Hebron HS

5. Fr- Baline McBride, OL, 6-0, 245lbs, Carrollton TX-Hebron HS

6. Fr- Kenneth Okonkwo, DE, 6-2, 230lbs, Richardson TX-Berkner HS

I am assuming these guys are walk-on's. The 3 OL guys seem a little "small" for

the OL. The 3 walk-on P/K's are listed, Clayton, Moreland, and Deans. Kaiser and

Roman are listed also.

According to DCTF (2006), Hebron coach Brian Brazil says that center Blaine McBride "isn't the biggest center, but there aren't many better." He's grown, btw...in DCTF he was listed as only 5' 10, 230. As I recall, Andy Brewster was fairly small when he came to Denton......and he sure worked out for us.

Bradley Davidson was 1st team all-district in 5-5A and Blaine McBride was 1st team all-district in 6-5A. Both made the all-district teams as centers.

Good centers are alway welcome. Yes, Andy Brewster was a very good center

that was not that big. I remember Bob Stout, played center for Hayden Fry.

Bob was about 6-0, 250lbs, strong as a bull, and fast. He would take on LB's

and OG's that were bigger than he was, only Bob would win the battle!

A legit 6" 250 was a pretty good sized O-Lineman back in the seventies. A lot of the Cowboy's offensive linemen were in the 250 pound range.

1. Brett Barrow

**NOTE** The qaulity of the music on the site is not as good as the recorded CD. Please also remember that the four songs on the site are songs made by brett and michael only, not with the two new members... new cd coming soon*** It all started at a small private school in Fort Worth, Texas, named Fort Worth Christian School. Two boys, Michael McCully and Brett Barrow quickly became friends at a very young age. As the two grew up they became extremely interested in music. Brett became a smashing guitar player and Michael became an insane drummer. Although the boys invisioned their friendship to last forever, bad luck then struck their relationship: Brett moved to Pebble Beach, California. Although Brett would visit during breaks and they were still able to play music together, it was still hard on the two young men. The band 'Synergy' was created by Michael and Brett last summer (05). The duet released their first cd at the very beginning of 06 thanks to Michael McCully's sound equipment. The cd quickly became a hit. Along with a promising career, two new members with amazing talent then joined: David Vermette, a bass player who also attends Fort Worth Christian, and John Hays, the frontman/guitarist who goes to LD Bell High School and has a wonderful singing voice. David and Michael are also in the band enamored with their friend Blake. With new lyrics already written, Synergy is very excited about the summer of 06. Along with creating another brilliant cd, the band expects to shoot a couple music videos and play a few concerts (check the site for show dates). We are Synergy and we hope you enjoy our music! Got this of http://www.myspace.com/synergysounds.

4. Troy Kokjohn

5. Blain McBride

Hebron C Blaine McBride (5-10, 220) isn't very big, but he's a tough hombre with great technique. He's the son of former Hebron defensive coordinator Joe McBride, who left to become the head coach at Frisco Wakeland.

6. Kenneth Okonkwo

Graduated from Berkner in 2006. Has twin brothers, CB Alvin Okonkwo 5-10, 170 and DE Andy Okonkwo 6-2, 190, who are seniors at Berkner this year. They also run track.

Thank You, Greenbat! Great research and very good information!

I see why thee guys are on the roster!

Very talented bunch of kids!

Thanks again!

Just heard back on Kevin Dickerson.

Here is what his HS coach said.

Kevin is a big time leader and comes from a great family. He is one of

the hardest workers to come through here and we believe in hard work

here.

Kevin will work his way into a spot at UNT. He is a muscular guy that

runs solid routes and he is very tough and can take a hit.

I was so impressed with Kevin in the four years he was here that we

re-named our Coaches Award after him. The coaches award is the most

significant award we give. It is not handed out at a Sports Banquet but

at graduation. It stands for everything we think a Calvary player should

be and will continue to be.

Hope this helps!
