As for the Scott Hall intro game. 106 degrees at kickoff in Fouts. I'll never forget when he came in during the 3rd quarter against Baylor and led that drive for the TD. At one point he rolled right and set up to wait for his reciever to separate. With an LB bearing down on him he simply waited, held fast and just at the last second threw a strike that got us inside the 10. Everyone was yelling out, "There's our QB!!!!". He then came in the second series against Tech and nearly brought the win home. I believe his actuall start was against UNLV in the third week but I could be wrong on that?

That was a rough year, losing to UNLV 38-0, to Boise State 59-0, K State 55-10, Ark State 53-28. Still, we didn't get run out of the stadium by Baylor, nearly beat Tech in the final seconds of that game and you could tell with the last win in the last game of the year the Defense was coming together and Hall seemed to have full command of the O.

Harry and I were standing on the Ben E Keith deck when Hall made that perfect strike against Baylor. The "high five" ritual took place after the catch.

The Tech game, even though a loss, was one my most memorable games.
