Oklahoma is a great football stmosphere. My son went there before coming to his senses and transfering to North Texas. But while he was there, we did the good parent thing, and went to some OU games when there wasn't a Mean Green game in Denton or nearby.

But get there early enough to see the pre game activities. The OU band is very good and one of my personal favorites is the way the Oklahoma fans sing the National Anthem. The band plays the National Anthem in the traditional way, with a twirler no less. But at the end of the song, where we would sing, "and the home of the brave," you'll hear "and the home of the SOONERS." Wonderful college game day atmosphere.

Thank you Boise State
