I think Matt Phillips should be kicker. He's a big kid with lots of power, and his target would be the goal post. Most of you remember his balls ALWAYS went over the target!!!.....hehe

Just trying to help???? (It's only a joke, Matt. We need a kicker)

GMG!!!

I take that back, I think Scrappy might do a bit better as the holder. Those Talons are meant for holding.

Not to get another DD argument going here - but why, if Woodward was a great kicker - were we redshirting him?

So that, since we already had a very talented kicker in place in Hopovac, we wouldn't waste a year of Woodward's eligibility.

I find it hard to believe there is a shortage of place kickers. Most teams only have one.

Just got back from media day and this a direct quote from Coach Todd Dodge," A walk on freshman will be kicking off at Oklahoma."

Take that for what it is worth. Either Thomas Moreland (5-11, 180) from Forney (North Texas) and Clayton Teasdale (5-8, 162) from Carrollton Newman Smith are the only two freshman walk-on kickers. He mentioned both by name, but did not elaborate on either.

What were his stats for the season? Didn't someone other than him kick a couple of times in that 7 OT game?
