INDICTMENTS

The Orange County Grand Jury has returned the following indictments, according to District Attorney John Kimbrough's office.

All persons charged are are from Orange unless otherwise indicated.

Joey Byerly, 22; Moses Gilbert, 45; Adrien Pitre, 22; and Kenny Stanley, 26, and Todd Wilkinson, 29, both of Vidor, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.

Sterling Lewis, 31; Jeremiah Gilmore, 20, charged with delivery of a controlled substance

Brad Shaunesey, charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon:

Dustin Lacouture, 24, and Christopher Glassey, 24, both of Vidor, were charged with burglary of a building.

Michael McCoy, 21, of Vidor, was charged with felony theft.

Kyle Folk, 21, allegedly stole a motorcycle and is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Carl Schumacher, 59, of Bridge City; Jay Bruce, 36, of Vidor, were charged with felony DWI.

Justin Ply, 21, of Bridge City, charged with tampering governmental record.

Robert Lormand, 30, charged with felony forgery.

Clinton Sean Lingo, 32, burglary of a habitation and felony evading arrest.

Larry Atwood, 48, charged with robbery of a Vidor residence.

Annette Lorraine Ammean of Vidor, 37, charged with credit card abuse.

Sad to see this. Joey had some talent. Unfortunatly, Joey also had some unhealthy and illeagal addictions.

His arrest is not really a shock after seeing his website, but damn... a felony? I dont remember much about his playing ability, just that he was a big guy for a QB. You hate to see a young man throw his future away like that.. makes no sense.

In the "where are they now?" catagory, I was wonderring what ever happened to George Marshall? He will forever be rememberred for a dropped ball on ESPN2. I wonder what that guy is doing now? I also wonderred about Jonus Buckles and what he is up to? Seems we hear things about the other players from those teams.

Anyway, good luck to Joey Byerly and his crew. I hear prisons have football teams for inmates, and they get special treatment if they play? Wait, no... that was a movie. Looks like someone is just screwed....
