Garage Wall Mural?

I was driving into my neighborhood, and one of the houses had their garage door open. On the wall was a huge Mean Green logo (with son of worm) underneath a huge NT painted in bright green. This is a long shot, but does anyone on this board live in Paloma Creek south in Little Elm? I just want to know if they did that with a stencil or if they freehanded it. Also, how can I get one done?

I have thought of doing my garage in team colors and would love a stencil.

Hey Everybody,

We just did something similar at our church... not a Mean Green logo, but our student ministry logo. Anyway, copy or trace what you want onto a transparency and shoot it up on the wall with an overhead projector. Or, if you have the means, shoot it up on the wall with a video projector. Trace and paint away.

My step son freehanded it onto a piece of paper then drew it on a much larger scale onto the garage wall. It took a lot of drawing and erasing to get the dimensions correct but it really looks good, especially for an 11 year old. He's a pretty good little artist.

That's a great idea. I have a projector I can borrow from work. I have found my next weekend project.

This is on my list of garage to do items!

I've got to first clean it out and put on the floor coating. Been planning that for 5 years now.
