Its like from Major League when they pulled the dress off the owner piece by piece, we are covering DD's black shame peice by peice as the season gets closer..

i think the black pants would really present a problem in our efforts to "not" look like SLC...

An all green home uni wouldnt be bad either...

The payoff isn't quite as good as it was in Major League.

I must say, and I must give our athletic department some much deserved credit on this one, they have managed to do a marketing idea that is probably taking a lot of folks to their site to see them reveal the new uniforms bit by bit. It keeps many of us going back there, and with the articles in the paper, it probably is getting quite a few folks going there.

Yes, good link. Someone previously posted (player's dad?) that he was told the pants would be white with a green colored-flair up from the knees. I think we'll look very similar to these all white Texas Tech UA uniforms....

i would be betting we will have a few options on unis. i bet there will be an all white, green top black pants, maybe even an all green.... i think there will be some alternates for sure.

also, i think it will be kinda funny looking that we will have these cutting edge new unis and be playing in a dumpy stadium

Your avatar pic creeps me out...it looks like a face is in the helmet and the nose is hanging over the front of the facemask and the eyeball has popped out of the socket...scary stuff!!!! :o But, then again...maybe it's just me. :ph34r: I guess you'll be changing that picture to the new, white helmet soon?

High school kids can't get enough UA, so I don't think this is a problem. Recruits who attend our games will love our uniforms and probably want to buy some NT UA gear.

That's our cat. She's also has a picture in a Cowboys helmet and yes when I receive my new NT mini helmet I will have a new avatar. :D

Have you seen any information regarding a new mini-helmet? I, too, would like to acquire one when/if it comes out. Thanks!

i think the accent colors/marks are the key... if they match the helmet, it looks sharp

      Eric Morris Post on Cam Ward

      Eric Morris is the only college coach to offer a scholarship to the quarterback who is 15 minutes away from being the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. It would be crazy for him and UNT not to use this for self-marketing. Also, since when is "recruiting methodology" a bad thing? You can't win if you don't bring talented players in. Especially now when they go out as quickly as they came in.

      I agree that football is obviously a bigger deal than basketball. But we have no chance to beat the P4 schools in football anymore. Heck, look what happened when we played Texas Tech. The larger rosters in football and the ability of the P4 to monopolize the biggest, strongest and fastest players is too much for our limited budget to overcome. But in basketball: there are so many great guards that the P4 can’t take all of them. Stack a few great guards with a few serviceable big men (99% of the great big men are in the $$$ conferences) and we have a fighting chance against anyone. The best of the SEC schools would never play us in basketball but they would invite us to their football stadium almost every week if they could. And your point about NCAA basketball having more parity is a reason that we should invest more heavily in basketball. Why not fight a fight that you can actually win?

      Both of those wins got me excited. I used to live in Minnesota and the amount of greater support and resources that school has compared to us is ridiculous. And I also loved beating OK St and Abou Ousmanne (who quit on our team a few years ago). Not only do they have mountains more support and resources than us, but they are also a regional rival. Only thing that would have been better would have been if Mosley hadn’t fudged it up and we could have done it in front of a full home crowd. If those two wins don’t get you excited, then I would suggest doing something different with your time than following North Texas basketball.
