Coaches Son's Make Good Qb's

This story is from the 1997 Sports Illustrated football preview. It is on Koy and Ty Detmer, son of Sonny Detmer, who just took the job at Class 3A Somerset. They are both six-foot or smaller.

Ty Detmer spent the 2004 and 2005 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons.

Up until Koy Detmer's release in August 2006, he had played his entire career in Philadelphia.

Neither are on an NFL roster at this time, but neither have retired.

Take the name Todd Dodge and put it in the place of Sonny Detmer and replace Koy and Ty's names with Riley's and you can see what NT has in store.

Riley will make a heckuva QB. Will he be Ty or Koy Detmer? That remains to be seen. Their is definite correlation and could very easily happen. Riley might break every passing record imaginable (TD loves the records)
