Congrats to the Weatherford Little League Major's All Star team for winning their district play and moving on to the next round. This is the age level that goes on to the LLWS on tv. Anyhow, we have an alumnus who's kiddo plays on this team so I thought I would announce it. The team defeated other teams from Fort Worth and Arlington finishing 5-0 while only surrendering 4 runs total. Last night they 10 run rulled a team from University(?) in which alumnus Terry Scott's boy Austin cranked one out of the park. Weatherford's team made a good run at it two or three years ago finishing pretty deep in state so hopefully this team can advance past that.
