Lasik- Eye Correction

I am very serious about having lasik eye surgery soon

I was wondering if anyone here on the board has had the procedure or if you might know someone who has had it

What is there condition post-op and what is the names of some good doctors here in the area to have this procedure done

Any help would be much appreciated.

I can't help you with DFW-area doctors, but I can assure you that the procedure is harmless...and wonderful. My mother - 55 years old - had it about a year ago and since then is doing great. The process was painless and perfect. She sees great now and has experienced no side-effects.

My brother-in-law is the only person I know of who didn't have the procedure go seamlessly for him. He went to a fancy one in Miami and came out in pain. His vision reverted 3 years later and he has had 2 follow up operations since.

Everyone else I know did it in Plano and was very happy, but he is the only reason I keep putting it off. I wouldn't wish his situation and beatdown need to travel so the procedure is free when they try to fix on anyone.

The wife's Lassik has been flawless and was an amazingly quick recovery time. Her doctor was one of the two Ranell brothers out of Tarrant county. Not to hijack this thread, but I would ask if anyone here has had any dealings with, or know someone who has dealt with the new Cataract replacement lenses(Re-Zoom, CristaView etc)?
