My expectations are to see more attendance, more excitement, better disciplined team with better execution that can put points on the board.

I don't have an idea about what to expect record-wise. My first thought was that there are only two teams on our schedule that we have little chance to beat. So, I think that with a little luck we could go 8-4. Then I look at six games that we lost by 19 or more, including three conference games. So now I'm wondering just how well we can hold anyone.

Can Coach Mendoza do the job? Probably, but he/we won't know until we're a few games into the season. Thankfully, we only had two losses (one reallly because Graves was injured) from last year's defense.

I'm looking for a three game improvement to 6-6.

Mainly, though, I'm just looking for enthusiasm by our fans. Enough so that we are turning dirt on the new stadium before next signing date.

in the spring game you saw the offense struggle early but by the end of the game they were driving and scoring often. it will be the same during the season. they will learn and learn more under dodge.

I expect a winning record but I really think we may see a trip to the NO Bowl this year. I will be happy with 4 wins or more for TD and even patient with less.
