2007 Offensive Production

I think we'd all agree that offensive production is the #1 key to success under TD, not only in the W/L column but in the recruiting arena as well. If we average 25+ points per game, I think we can endure a few more losses and still recruit some top caliber athletes who want to play in an exciting, high scoring offense. We may even sway some prospects that have already committed to another school. However, if we lose 7-8 games and our offense is limited to an average of 14 points a game, I think recruits may begin to wonder if TD's offense can make the transition from HS to the collegiate level.

How many points do you think our offense will average over the entire 2007 season??

A. 0-14

B. 15-25

C. 26-35

D. 36-45

E. 45+

C. I think we will score about 30 points a game.

I have a lot of confidence in Dodge's ability to teach and run his offense. My concern/questions come from the defensive side of the ball. During DD's 4 bowl run, his defense set up his offense. (Of course his run set up his draw play). What do we know about SLC's defense while Dodge was there?

I'm looking for WW to go to the defensive backfield.

I'd like to know too...obviously I wasn't able to create a poll either. However, I did see that someone was able to create one. I sort of feel like the underpriveledged!

Somewhere is the lower end of the "C" range is definitely attainable.

At this point in time with the Coach Dodge era, I choose "C".

I do beleive this yearly average will increase due to the big blow outs over the phonies,

and the muts.
