When magazines try and pick the non-bcs....

looking through my old football preview mags from last year (yeah, i was on the crapper and had some time to kill) it was interesting to see who was picked last year and who actually won their devisions...

Athlon...

MWC

picked TCU (finished 2nd)

evetual winner BYU was picked 3rd

WAC

picked BSU (correct!)

SBC

Picked ULL (finished 5th)

eventual winner Troy was picked 3rd (MSU was picked 5th)

CUSA

picked UCF (finished 4th) and UTEP (finished 5th)

eventual winners were SoMiss and UH (picked 2nd and 3rd respectively)

MAC

picked Miami (5th) and NIU (3rd)

eventual winners were CMU (picked 3rd) and ohio (picked 3rd)

To me it looks like you want to be picked in the middle of the pack by these guys if you are not one of the BCS schools...I'm ok with where they think we will be this year....go ahead, keep picking us between third and fifth!
