Well, thank goodness they weren't setting up "no work/nice pay" jobs at the local dealership. They could've gotten away with that.

So if I read this right this probation comes from walk-ons who are already paying for there own school and already paid the same price as every other student on campus for a meal plan. There wasn't any preferential treatment or discounted meal that the rest of the students could partake in. Where's the violation here.

OH My GOD!

What the hell is the NCAA doing, what a joke!

The NCAA needs a complete overhaul, they need to gut the entire organization and start over.

The probation will not limit CU's television exposure or NCAA tournament appearances, however.

Anyone feel that anymore the punishment rarely represents the severity of the infraction?

      This part of your argument is just not true. North Texas has claimed 25 conference championships in football all time, tied for 13th most in the FBS. I would say a “signature win” would be the win over undefeated #22 UTSA in 2021. Looking a little further back, are you forgetting about the season we beat Rice and Texas Tech on the road, and also nearly beat Texas at DKR?

      You sound like the idiots on the Minnesota board. One can't always just look at conference affiliation and automatically assume "yeah that team is good/bad" dependent on that alone.

      I can’t go back 20 years, but with the last DC we paid a lot for someone who didn’t know how to adapt to his personnel or recruit Texas or have any relations with high school coaches in Texas Then let him hire position coaches that were only GA’s (no recruiting trail opportunities). So we tried not spelling Texas. And you see where we lack depth on defense and it’s all attributed to those relationships. In G5 conferences we have to get THAT guy. It’s important on signing day and the transfer portal. But I can see the frustration. But if I’m wrong it sure not the first time
