I love it! Keep em coming! But what are we gonna do in Jan. and Feb. when our recruiting is already done. Ahhh who cares.

I hope we can talk about the Mens & Womens basketball teams getting ready for the NCAA tournament. At least the mens team.

In the state Top 100 in this weeks DMN I noted Texas had committments from4 of the states top running backs. Will someone get there feelings hurt come signing day or do they expect some more RBs to be arrested and dismissed from the team?

They've only got 5 Rb's on the roster now including 1 senior and by the time these kids get there Charles and Melton will be seniors if Charles doesn't leave early so your looking at these four being all they've got going into 2009.

And they've figured out that Melton just isn't a running back.

      Great Week 4 Uniform Video

      Not gonna lie, the helmets, script, the whole combo is pretty nice. I prefer logos on helmets, but this actually looks really good. I think combing the emerald green with our current kelly green would have looked great too.

      PAC is back

      Publicity can help build a brand up faster than you think. Even if the UNT AD and president don’t want to go the the PAC or the move isn’t as likely because Memphis and Tulane aren’t actually going…being in the conversation still matters. This is just one small example of how UTSA is using this opportunity to elevate their brand above ours even if they don’t go to the PAC. By being in the conversation, and having Traylor stir the rumor mill on his coaches show, they’re positioning themselves amongst the top of the AAC. It may seem small, but over time, this is the type of stuff that (along with winning) shapes outside perception. Again, for us to not be publicly interjecting UNT in this conversation even if we don’t end up going is a disservice to our brand.

      PAC is back

      It's currently the PAC2, right? What would have to play out for American to pass the PAC2 in terms of performance, media rights, and perception? I have this wild idea that we all hold firm on where we are at, together, and make a concerted effort to figure out how to make this happen. Not that we become P4, just simply pass the PAC2 which seems pretty much dead as it stands.
