Rivals has handed out there first stars to a NT recruit......Troy Franklin got a 5.4 2* rating. The 5.4 means he is on the verge of being a 3* recruit. But yet still for someone who is on the short list for the Army All-America game I would have expected 3*.

Start rants on "why we shouldn't follow the stars rating system." and "if he was headed to UT he would have gotten 3 for sure."

As long as he's good I could care less how many stars he gets. If only they rated by black holes...
