Go to http://www.meangreensports.com/ and look at Dykstra's shirt. That is the shade of "green," (although it looks more like aqua) that just curls my hair.

Look on that same page, to the right, at Dodge's shirt on the cover of the fan guide; that is the true new green. You can get wrong shades of dark green too.

Okay...I know I've beat this horse to death, but I realized something today. It isn't the kelly green I dislike so much. It's the turquoise green that the university has been distributing. Today was faculty/staff picnic and all of the nice folks who were dishing out the food on the library mall had shirts on that were the same color of light blue green as Dykstra's shirt in the picture. If they would only stick with the kelly that Todd Dodge is wearing (on the same webpage as Dykstra), I honestly would be all right with it.

That was my point. This is a tough green to find and different materials seem to take this color in different ways. The darker is much easier to find and to make work with different materials and manufurers. One of the pictures of Dodge sure looks like a darker green and is a good color whatever it is.

centex eagle...

I have an idea. Let's give the university officials and the T-shirt distributors a box of 8 Crayola crayons and show them the green one. We'll tell them that is the green we are looking for...primary green.
