I don't totally disagree, defense needs massive improvements. I was so heated today when we brought pressure on passing downs and DBs played off and head up leverage... Teach you at the most basic of levels of football at QB pressure try to throw a slant. If DB leverage is inside and takes that away throw the fade. We seemed good with giving up both a 5 yard hitch route, or slant all night. Brutal. If offense plays to their average of 34.8 (kick FG at half, and FG on 4th down) were pretty damn close and maybe the ball game looks different? GMG -

UNT vs Texas State BOWL GAME THREAD!!
Penciled in, but not written in pen or stone! I'm not a huge fan of Coach Morris, but the one thing he seems to know well is quarterbacks. Mestemaker, Jimmerson, and Poffenbarger should all compete for the job next season, and I'm sure Morris will pick the best one for his system. I'm much more worried about the other positions. -
