This is not what coach Sue needs. NCAA rules prevent a college player from accepting even a $25 prize in a USTA amateur tournament, let alone a pro tournament. I know Baylor has had a problem wih this - don't know how they get away with it.

Pretty easy you just do not accept the money.

That is what most players do they do not accept the money and maintain amateur status. Plenty of collegiate players will play the USTA Pro Ciccuit events over the summer.
