Not gonna lie last years senators were a bunch of anti athletic nuts. They didnt do jack. Next year's senators have a few people that are pro-athletic and willing to do some stuff.... if some of yall can help us with some bills. I'm down for raising student services fees quietly, as long as we show a purpose. But let's put a winning program on the field... maybe then people will be more reciprocative. Remember the average UNT student isnt like us on the boards.... they dont care. Give em a reason. Yall have resources in me and other SGA people... but help us out. Somehow...

I'm a little confused about the "help us out" plea. Are you asking for a bribe?

No, not bribes. Just backing in writing so other senators see that alumni/students care about different issues. I dont want to write just hollow bills

Wow, when was that?

Rick

The year was 1999. To make matters worse, we lost 0-52 and I don't think that we ever crossed midfield. It was the worst loss that I had ever witnessed in (at that time) fifty years of North Texas football.

I knew that we were in for a long night because I heard DD's interview with the LSU media and he said that we couldn't compete with LSU and were basically there for the check. It was where I got off of the Dickey bandwagon and still had no more than one foot on it thereafter, in spite of four SBC championships. I was still 100% behind the players but I thought then that they deserved a better coaching staff.

I had been to Tiger Stadium several times before and with worse seats enjoyed it more. It is a great place to enjoy a football game when you can see the field but deliver me from ever sitting on the first row at Tiger Stadium again. The front row isn't always bad though, I went to the Vanderbilt (in Nashville) game and sat on the first row but I was up high enough that my view wasn't blocked.
