Is Dallas getting the rap of a "loser" sports town? I hope not...but what have the Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars, Rangers done in the last few years? And, even FC Dallas and the Desparados don't have much to glow about in the last couple of years with their early playoff run exits. What's up with all the playoff losses for Dallas area teams???? UGH!

Save your money for UNT sporting events...cost less and one heck of bunch of fun. Easy to get to the games, and you can take the whole family without hocking the house!

Buy UNT season tickets and forget the overpriced underperforming Cowboys, Mavs and Stars....you can still go see the Desparados and FC Dallas for a reasonable amount...and...the players are not overpaid!!!! Have fun UNT nation....

The Mavs will never win an NBA Title

The Cowboys, FC Dallas and the Rangers aren't Dallas teams. More like metroplex teams. Can't ever say we are dissapointed in the Rangers as they are at least consistent and can be counted on being 10 games out of first come the All Star game.

...and the Spurs fans come out. Enjoy it, Game 7 of the Western semi's last season gives Mavs fans enough head to head bragging rights for a little while longer.

Choke of the decade? How bout biggest choke in NBA history!!! I dont care how strong the Warriors are, the Mavs are a 67-15 team. Ugh, this happened the last time we won a division title too, in 86-87, when they won their division by going 55-27 and losing to the Seattle Supersonics in the first round. Granted, they werent the number one team in the NBA. Proves once again Dirk cant lead a team to the championship.
Oh well you can still pack the AAC.... by going to Desperados games!!! Its not the same is it....

Dito on the bigest choke ever.

Mavs will win a title...someday. But they looked like a deer in headlights all series against Golden State.

Are you kidding me? With the exception of the rangers since the late 90's the teams of dfw have bonafide winners! Most cities would trade places if they could have a team in every sport and have winners in all of them....last time I checked only one team in each and every league can win a title and just a handful of teams are able to go to the playoffs. Right now dfw fans are in a kneejerk reaction because the situation is new to our head. Dirk has flaws in his game but every player does....the reason my KG is more respected because he has that balls out attitude and what not....the year they made the west finals they only got there because of Sam Cassell. Sure KG was the face of the Wolves but Cassell was the heart and soul. We need to make a few changes and build around Dirk, JHO, Harris and Diop. I want Stack back and If its possible we need to get rid of terry unless he can serve as a a 6th or 7th man who would be a stud in that role. This team still has plenty of years to win a title....Dirk is the 9 yr vet but hes only 28....dev, jho, and diop are young lads. I understand everyone thinks Dirk is this and that but remind yourself that its either Dirk or darren morningstar, rodne mcrae, doug smith, terry davis and the long list of spares that were apart of this organization not to long ago.

Oh, I'm sorry, I was distracted because I was looking at our THREE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BANNERS, all won in the last eight years. And yeah, you beat us last season, congratulations on that...but the series was basically a coin flip...if Ginobili doesn't foul Dirk (and he DID foul him, I'm not disputing that) at the end of regulation in Game 7, maybe the Spurs bury the Heat in four.

At least the Spurs know how to FINISH in the playoffs...you can have head-to-head in the regular season...I want to win in the PLAYOFFS.

Say it LOUD...Go Spurs Go!

TEAM is EVERYTHING.

That was a classic finish last season...getting eliminated in Game 7 on your home floor.

Seriously though, monumental collapse for the Mavs. We were all excited about the fact that the Suns and Spurs would be beating each other up while we cruise past the Warriors and the Jazz...maybe the team started believing that mess also.

Who cares????? It's over...the Mavs are done! THEY CHOKED BIG TIME...so be it...now we can get on the the "real" season....UNT FOOTBALL...Go Green! And while you are at it...Join the Exes, Buy the "Sink Navy" shirt and we'll see you on the bus to ZeroU!
