Just some questions......seems all receivers would be somewhat deep. will there be no intent to use dump-off man

in a designed "plan-b" for panic plays? Maybe a back on a short route after a delay block ?? Or will receivers be primarily deeper than what we're used in order to keep the lb's backed out to open up running lanes ???? Is there more that will stay hidden for awhile ???

I do not see any "dump" off passes to the RB's, nor any designed plays with the RB out in

the flat or in the slot-

I think Coach Dodge is "saving" these type of plays and maybe did not want to show

too much of his pasing offense. I watched some of his SLC games, and the RB position

was used in many pass routes form the backfield.

There were a couple of WR "screens" ran on Sunday, but that is all I saw.

From what I know about the Dodge ball system the RB is not a big player in the passing game except for blocking b/c he is the 6th man if the defense brings six. From what I know it is a offense that takes what the defense gives you. That is why you see at the Line of Scrimmage the whole offense look back to the sidelines b/c they call the play based on what the defense is aligned in. For example, if the defense moves a guy out of the box then we will call a run. If a CB is lined up too deep we may a call a hitch or stop route. From what I know the WR's routes are a lot timing routes, the stops and the hitches and as we saw yesterday we are going to be throwing a lot of corner routes. The "Smash" route is a big player in the Dodge system. I cant wait. By the way, I thought WOody looked the best yesterday.

I didnt see the entire scrimmage and only saw him on one series. But he made some things happen when he was in there. He made some nice throws and nice runs and was the first QB to lead us down to score and up until that point we hadnt been doing much offensively.

You need to watch the rest of the scrimmage. Maeger settled down, got his arm into a groove and looked much better than Wilson down the stretch. I thought WW made some great things happen with his legs, but as the scrimmage progressed you can see the offense really start to gel (even in its watered-down mode) and move.

I agree that WW looked better on his first series...down-right impressive. But he couldn't ever get the passing aspect going. Nothing about Tune really stood out to me. I think we're going to head into spring with Maeger, Wilson, and a keen eye on Vizza.
