Former Fb Player To Be Grand Marshal At Tms

This Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway, Stone Cold Steve Austin,whose real name is Steve Williams, is scheduled to serve as Grand Marshal of the Samsung 500 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series race. Williams played linebacker at North Texas under Corky Nelson, I believe.

Speaking of Steve Williams, AKA STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN, WWE have released a plaque for his film "The Condemned”. The plaque also features two bullet casings shot by The former NT FB player when he filmed the movie.

"The Condemned” will be released nationally in the United States on April 27th.

I was listening to KSCS this morning, and they were broadcasting from the speedway. Steve Austin was a guest on the show and made mention of his time at North Texas. He still called it North Texas State, but mentioned that the school is now UNT. Good press either way.

I had him in a few classes. At the time, pretty quiet guy with long, stringy blond hair.
