NFL Pro Bowler visits Waxahachie

NFL Pro Bowl offensive lineman Brian Waters was in his hometown of Waxahachie to sponsor a home he is helping to construct in a collaboration with Habitat for Humanity of Ellis County.

Kathy Rushing, a member of the organization in Ellis County, sent in the photo at right of Waters speaking at the ceremony Saturday in Waxahachie. Waters is a 1995 graduate of Waxahachie High School. He attended North Texas before beginning his career as a rookie free agent, signing with the Cowboys in 1999.

For more photos of Waters at the event, go to the My High School Web site for Waxahachie.

I played with B-Waters and spent some time with him off of the field and I must say that he is a great guy that really cares about people. It doesn't surprise me when I see him helping out people in need. Good job Brian!
