I'm sitting here watching the UT spring game on Fox Sports (checking to see how a kid from my high school is doing).

They start off the game and a couple of things jump out at me that get me wondering about ours this year.

1) Is the band going to be there? What about Cheerleaders? Seems like it'd be a good chance for us to learn "group chants", plus it would definilty add to the atmosphere of the game.

2) What about Boomer?

3) Scanning the crowd, I see lots of folks eating hotdogs and stuff. Will we be selling refreshments? what about shirts, hats, etc.......?

This is a HUGE opportunity, because a LOT of folks are interested in how Dodge is going to be doing and will be eager to see. Should be a decent crowd.

From everything I've heard, Coach Dodge and co. want it to be a gameday atmosphere. Since there's tailgating, Boomer, etc., I'm thinking the concessions should be open. It may not be all the windows, but surely they can open one side up.

I couldn't tell if the whole UT band was there, but you could hear the Drum Line going throughout the game. Also - They had their Cheerleaders there, but they weren't wearing their normal uniforms, just t-shirts and shorts, but with pom-poms.

It'd be cool if we could get the UNT Drum Line to show up. They're under-utilized in my book. They ought to have a 10 minute "solo" in the parking lot before every game.

UNT hasn't promoted it's spring game like other schools have until this year. We have been wanting them to sell football tickets sooner in the year and promote the spring game, maybe they finally listened to us? ha.
