He was the Class 5A player of the year in THIS OFFENSE.

Just because you can run the offense good in high school dose not always mean you can run it good at the Division 1 level. Plus he has been away from Dodge for a few years. I think teams like OU are a little bit better on the defensive side of the ball then collyville Heritage, and Trinity ( just a little bit though).

I really don't see how much of an impact this guy can make for our team in one year anyways.

Where did you get he was going to transfer to NT? Nothing says that he will transfer or where he will transfer. Could it be Wishful thining to secure or QB position for a year?
