If our football season hadn't been such an abortion this past year, we would have been a good ways ahead of Rice, closer to TCU. Going 3-9 on the season in the SBC makes it tough to make a case we should be any higher...

Believe me, I am as excited about our future but I think to say in the next 2 years is absurd.

Believe me, I am as excited about our future but I think to say in the next 2 years is absurd.

Why is that? We made it to the dance--in that sense we are already a top 64 team in basketball. We all expect the football program to improve in the next 2 years. Top 20 in the next 2 years might not be realistic, but top 50 is most certainly attainable.

I was at that private school recently doing some research in their library, but the whole time I was listening to the Green Brigade on the iPod.

I think the psychic power of that guerrilla action was sufficient to put us in the top 50 in a couple of years.
