The "Tee Sweep" is an awesome concept! If my daughters were over 7 I'd bid on that though I think I'd get more out of it than they would. I'm sure there are some folks with sons that are old enough to bid on it..............

Did that just open? Kind of strange that there aren't ANY bids yet.

Good stuff but all of the bids are from the same guy (Wildcatter) and all of the bids are below the minimum bid price. I don't think that they actually have any bids at all right now - for anything.

The minimum bid is for the next bidder. If someone has bid $500 for the TD signed football the next bidder will have to bid at least $550.

My luck, if I bid on the Tee Sweep (which I love the idea), I'd win, give it to some kid I know. UNT would kick off and somewhere on the return the tee would get kicked and tumbled around, and end up over on the sideline, about 2 feet in front of the kid. Bend over and pick it up son, you'll remember this the rest of your life! ATTABOY!

I was looking at some of these items like the Peyton Manning signed jersey and the OU, SMU, and Arkansas sideline passes and the though occurred to me, why not post the link on message boards to those groups? Would it be wrong to have an opposing fan on our sideline if it ment raising more money? In terms of the Manning jersey it doesn't apply as I don't see anything wrong with a Colt fan giving us money (though I am sure someone on here will). But for the sideline passes?

Also, why hasn't there been more advertisement for this? Just a quick news blurb on the 4 major networks could mean a ton more money raised...

Buzz...I think this is a great idea. Who cares if someone from the other side is on our sidelines...if they shell out some serious cash for sideline passes to make benefit glorious university NT...

Also, keep this in mind.

The live auction items will be available for internet bidding until 12:00am on Friday, March 30, 2007. Once a bid has been placed, it will be considered bound by the terms of the auction. If you are the high bidder at this point, this DOES NOT guarantee a winning bid. This will simply be the starting bid for the live auction at the Don January Classic Event Auction on Monday, April 2, 2007. If no one bids higher than your online bid at the live auction, you will be the winner for this item and you will be notified in an email. If you remain the high bidder, your credit card will be charged for the amount of the item and a confirmation email will be sent.

I agree and it occurred to me that we all can help by emailing the link to all our friends that may be interested. I am not a memorabilia collector but I do know some guys that love this stuff more than life itself. I know it is late now, but I am sending an email this morning.
