Another North Texas State Reference

Fran Blindbury is really showing his ignorance by referring to a school's name in this year's NCAA tounament which hasn't existed for nearly twenty years. Funny that I haven't noticed any Memphis State references lately. Guess it's time for another e-mail campaign.

I cancelled my subscription about a month ago, so I didn't even know about it until you posted.

"And here's a gem of a fact: Of the five schools from the Lone Star State in this year's NCAA Tournament field — Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, North Texas State and A&M-Corpus Christi — only the Islanders have a conference championship to their name."

I guess he doesn't know we won the conference championship since he was looking for "North Texas State".

The Islanders were regular season as well as Southland tournament champs.

The UNIVERSITY OF NORTH TEXAS men's basketball team won it's conference tournament, and is therefore the Sunbelt Conference champion!
