Need A Ride To New Orleans

Hey guys if anyone would be grateful enough to give 3 Pit Crew guys a ride to New Orleans that would be awesome. We'll chip in for gas, but want to leave around 5-6 on thursday since we have class.... We'll bring green wigs too if you guys dont have any. Any response would be appreciated.

I think what he was saying above is they all have class until after the bus is leaving, though I would hope teachers would be understanding enough to let students that are taking the charter skip class.

yeah, the charter bus leaves at 9 am.... i got a test during that time. We're all leaving after 9 pm or so....

thats awesome. We loaded up the cars for a huge caravan one year around 3am or 4am to go to one of the NOBowls. We were all supposed to go home and get some sleep around 10pm, but a couple of us decided to belly-up to the Tavern and ended up getting home about that time... of course, this was an excellent way to get out of having to drive!

Couple of my friends are also having to leave late Thursday evening, hope you guys have safe travel, thats a long haul!

Maybe this is the right time to remind everyone to be careful. We lost two or three of our students in a fatal accident one year. They were driving back from the New Orleans Bowl.

There were four. They all lived at Clark Hall with me. In fact, there is a memorial tree that sits out front of Clark Hall with their names engraved. We lost some excellent people and great Mean Green supporters that day...

I don't mean to argue about such a sad event, but two of the four had an apartment together, Stephanie and Rebecca. Maybe they were in Clark before they got their apartment. My future wife and I hung out with them at their apartment a month or two before the accident.

All in all, a very sad way to end a fun event

You're correct. I'd forgotten that Stephanie and Rebecca didn't live at Clark. I was closer to Ben Lee, the driver. He was one of our Wing Senators.
