Big West Final

Long Beach State vs Cal Poly. I have a good friend who's in grad school at LB. HOWEVER, if Cal Poly wins, our RPI would be better than theirs, and likely we'd be seeded above them.

Pretty exciting 1st half....both teams run like hell.

i was looking at some up to date rpi and saw that both poly and lbsu are ahead of us....poly is just a few spots up, but they are still ahead of us. do you think that with all these upsets tonight that we might jump to a 15?

maybe we can hope for a tamu-cc lose tomorrow as well!

Damn, we were ahead of Poly a few hours ago.

Still, we may get the 15 over them. If Corpus loses tommorrow the Southland champ will definitely be under us. I think we just need one league champion under us to assure ourselves of a 15 seed. We'll definitely be over the MEAC and SWAC champs. We're also probably gonna be in over Weber and CCSU, though both of those could be close.

i'll say a little prayer tonight! a 15 would be sooooooo much better than a 16. hmmm....so i'll be rooting against my hometown tomorrow....corpus christi! THAT'S OK...IT'S ALL GOOD....NORTH TEXAS ALLLLLLLL THE WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

These two teams play full throttle all the way. I'm not sure if they've ever heard of half court offensive sets.

It's alot of fun to watch though.

The Mustangs are up against it now. LBS is getting every loose ball and are hitting practically every shot.

Cal Poly is done. Two of their best players fouled out with 1:27 to go & they're down 8. We need Corpus to lose tommorrow to be assured of a 15 seed I think. We might get one anyways, but I wanna be sure.
