Watch the mid to small conference championships and cheer for an upset. The more of the regular season champions that get knocked off the better chance we have of sliding into a 14th seed.

That's what I'm doing. But I REALLY doubt we get a 14 at this point. I'm resigned to a 16; heck I'd be happy with a 15.

our SOS will kill us. Also to many losses to #200+ RPI teams. I think we should not be playing the play-in game but looking at other issues we might be stuck with even though we have 22 wins.

At this point I dont think it matters what too root for unless its UNT basketball. Afcourse the goal is to win win and win but I think the most important thing is even if we are a 16 seed we need to make it a game with whoever we play. I think that we have enough athleticism and great shooting that if we catch lighting in a bottle we can compete with just about anybody in the nation. If we lose by 10 or 15 and are in the game the whole time I think that would be awesome and would possibly gain even more pub and attention.

i totally agree with you. the upsets over the past few days do nothing but help us with a higher seed. there are a few smaller conference championships left - so lets rout for the upsets!!

I've seen 3 projections. One has in the play-in. One has us as the 3rd rated 16 seed, and the other as a 15.

I tend to look at worst possible scenario as not to be disappointed. That means rooting for Sacred Heart tonight. If Central Connecticut loses in the NEC title game we DEFINTELY won't be in the play-in.

GO SACRED HEART!!
