For The Students Out There

What's the buzz on campus(if any)? How many are gonna greet the team? Have you asked the Bookstore and/or Voertmans about Championship stuff?

I'm a student and I was on campus yesterday and quite a few people were talking about it....they were all getting ready to have a watching party or just watch it at home since it was on ESPN 2. I'm going back on campus in a couple of hours but I assume it will be larger cuz I think the NT Daily will cover a lot of it in todays edition. Whats more interesting is the same people who always support like UT, OU, A&M, and Tech clothing were the same people that were also pretty hyped up about the game last night. I only expect the hype and exciting to grow in the next week or two.

It makes sense that those people are the ones that are excited, since they probably are sports fans if they are supporting those programs. Everybody loves a winner.

Actually, something really interesting to point out.... I was in my chemistry lab last night at 5, and I overheard two guys talking about the game. They were like espn? I said no espn2? Then everyone (all 25 of us in the lab) started talking about how pumped we were about the game and couldnt wait to watch it. It was cool too, these were kids who dont normally come to basketball games. Today I havent seen much, but thats cause I've been in class, but theres some excited people on campus I'm sure.

Ya, I didn't see much today but I'll be out to greet the team at 3 and hopefully I can post some pictures on here for you guys who couldn't be there.

I called the Bookstore and Voertman's. The Bookstore said they thought they'd have SBC Champ shirts by Friday and Voertman's said early next week. Both will do mail orders for alumni like myself who are out of state as well.
