I'm in Abilene, and am probably by myself, any other Abilenians out there?

What are the plans in Denton for the dorms and bars?

What about D/FW, Houston, or any other city around the world?

Did coach make up a new word?

I don't know if this will happen, but I'm sure an email will be sent out to all of the student's emails (all who have an EUID) and that's how the word will be spread. So maybe the dorm leaders will take heed and make posters or something either tonight or tomorrow and maybe there will be some watching parties going on.

I'm sure that will be the case. This ought to get the students excited.

By the way, I thought only the girls had EUIDs. :rolleyes:

From another thread, the Fox and Hound in Lewisville had the game on tonight and will tomorrow night.

I hope there are some things shaping up on campus to get some school spirit flowing.

If there is anyone else in Abilene, I have a baseball game, and then I am probably going right to Buffalo Wild Wings.

UNTFLYER- I think that meeting at Fox and Hound in Lewisville tomorrow night is not a great idea. I went last night and had a great time. This isn't a knock on F&H and please if F&H is the place to go for you guys, have at it. However, we are playing on national television for the first time in 20 years and the excitement is contagious. Go to Fry Street where you will be around other North Texas students. On a Tuesday night, I would venture to guess that there are probably dozens of students at Fry who don't follow NT athletics. Get around them, show your enthusiasm and even if they don't become Mean Green fans, at least they will know we are here.

Yeah I was hoping that the Pit Crew would be somewhere on campus or at least in Denton. This is a great occasion, and if I had the choice, I would be in the homeland over Lewisville in a heartbeat.

Surely the Syndicate will be having a viewing party.

i was thinkin about going to fox and hound but i may go to a friends house and to the lyceum since i cant get into bars haha

ntdrummer...thanks for spear heading the get together...i unfortunately can't attend since i have a basketball game from 7-9. i'll pause the dvr and play catch up when i get home.

Yeah, there was an email sent from the Athletic Department earlier today. I'm thinking about going to the Lyceum to watch it on the overhead screen, though the chairs aren't as comfortable as my couch, and I don't think you can take food or drink into the Lyceum.
