The conventional wisdom is that it is really hard to beat the same team three times in the same season. If that's the case, are we better off trying to beat WKU for the third time, or having ASU try to beat us for the third time?

Forty minutes away. 22 wins is tied for the most in school history. Win or lose tommorrow, what a season.

But let's win tommorrow!!

Right on! No matter what, let's make sure these guys have a good welcome when they come home.

In the meantime, I'm ordering a new party dress for the Dance. So is my wife.

Well, you can look at what we did with ULL. Struggled during the regular season but had a decisive win in the tournament. If we get WKU, I hope we could do the same thing. However, ASU scares me to death.

I never thought I would say this but I think we match up better with Western Kentucky. We really dodged a bullet not having to play South Alabama.

This team needs to play SMARTER than they have all year to win tomorrow.

GMG!

KD is still questionable..would be nice to have him for the game

Yeah. I know we beat WKU once without him, but I don't see us beating ASU or the Toppers minus KD right now.

ESPN Bracketology has the Sunbelt Champion(right now listed as probably for WKU) the #15 seed in the South region...in San Antonio vs UNC.

NO, not UNC again. I'm tired of playing those guys in the Tourney!

If that comes to fruition for us, it would be 1988 all over again...except in San Antonio as opposed to Salt Lake City back then. The more things change, the more they stay the same...

I know! I thought it was very ironic, which is why I posted it. But all of the seeds and regions are very fluid right now, so who knows. :)

We're going to need some tough smoothering defense out of Sturns and Stewart tonight more than ever to slow down Banks and Wells. We're facing a tough veteran team tonight and those matchups could be key. Whether we have Davis back or not, personnel decisions by JJ are going to be very important. Best of luck guys!!!

Actually the first round appears to be in Winston-Salem.

They try to keep the top seeds close to home if possible.

Yeah, I did catch that several posts later :)

And I just went to their site...they don't even have the Sunbelt listed now...so I guess the SBC Champion has been demoted to the Play In game.
