9/1 @ OU

9/8 @SMU

9/22 FLA ATLANTIC

9/29 @ ARKANSAS

10/6 @ LOUISANA LAFAYETTE

10/13 LOUISIANA MONROE

10/20 @ TROY

10/27 MUTS

11/10 NAVY

11/15 @ARKY STATE

11/24 WESTERN KENTUCKY

12/1 @ FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL

My predictions:

OU-L

SMU-W

FAU-W

UA (AU?)-L

ULL-W

ULM-W

TROY-L

MTSU-W

NAVY-L

ASU-W

WKU-WWW

FIU-W

That would be 8-4, but I doubt we'll do quite that well. Just couldn't figure which of the "little" games we'd end up dropping.

Candidates include SMU, ULM, MTSU, ASU...figure we'll probably win 2 of those 4.

Hard to figure, though, in a conference like ours where the "good" and "bad" teams flip-flop so often. Yeah, UNT, MTSU, and Troy have been pretty dominant over the life of the conference (our last two seasons notwithstanding), but still, we've pretty much been the "big three" from 2001-2007. Others do well here and there and then are at the bottom for a year or two again. Just a very fickle conference as far as what is considered an "upset".

About time they got the schedule released. <_<

I saw the blerb in the DMN this morning.

AND I AM OFF ON 9/8 AND WILL GO TO THE NT @SMU GAME! :D

Wife wants to go too. I told her I don't care if it is rain, hurricane, tornado, blizzard, or if Jesus Christ appears at the 50 yard line before the game to start the Rapture and Apocolypse...we are staying for the game.:lol:

Thanks for making room for WKU on your schedule this year! We start our first year of transition off playing the arguably the top three SBC schools in North Texas, Middle Tennessee and Troy.

Look forward to having you all in the newly renovated/expanded L.T. Smith Stadium in 2008!

Hope the move works out for WKU. It is good to have a basketball rival on the football field too.

Does anyone know which away games will be televised locally, if any? As of now, all I can find is OU on FSN.

Welcome to the board.

Good question. It doesn't say on the meangreensports.com schedule...not even the OU game.
