DENTON (2/15/07) - Join The Greater Denton Sports Commission when it hosts its first Speaker Forum Lunch on Thursday, March 1 at noon at the Radisson Hotel in Denton. North Texas head football coach Todd Dodge will speak on the recruiting process and plans for the 2007 football season.

The luncheon is open to the public. Please RSVP by February 27, 2007. Individual tickets are $15 and tables of eight are $120. Purchase tickets in advance by calling or e-mail. 940-382-7895/dentonsports@discoverdenton.com

ummm....individual tickets are 15 and a table of 8 is 120.....jees I gotta get 8 people together to save uuuuu nothing?

Where would the "General" public read or learn about this in order to attend? Was it in/on the papers/radio/tv a while back when it was first posted here on GMG.com?

I think FFR means where could the regular Denton resident read about this meeting or see it advertised? Was it in the Denton paper or local cable network? I doubt 1% of Denton residents even knows UNT has an Athletic website, much less read it regularly for meeting invites.

Did anyone go to this luncheon that can provide a summary of Dodge's speech??

Yes, Jeff, that's exactly what I was getting at. Can't sell tickets to people that don't know about it(See basketball attendance as reference). As for your quesiton, the silence speaks volumes.
